Practice is how coherence becomes lived. These tools are ways of returning to the body, attention, relationship, creativity, and participation in ordinary life. They are not meant to take you somewhere else. They are meant to help you come back to what is here.
These practices arise from a larger understanding of coherence and the whole person.​

A brief practice of returning to a more fully inhabited life
​Lean
Forward — Backward — Sides — Twist
Lean gently to the soft edge
Surrender to gravity
Center
Feel your body touching things
Sense your belly, inside and out
Join your breath
​Love
Hug yourself
Hug the world
Imagine what your love touches
Focus
Let your mind rest
Return to gravity
Just be
There is no correct amount of time to pause.
You can return at any moment.
Over time, your body finds its own pacing.

Move with gravity.
Wait until your body lets you in.
Not toning. Not stretching. Not performing.

A way of entering coherence.

Bend knees slightly.
Relax into gravity.
Becoming presence.

Folding Down​

Fold forward with gravity.
​Bend knees slightly.
Letting go.

Circling Center

Slow hip circles.
Head vertical feet under hips.
Like a string of beads twirling.

Turning Through

Turning side to side.
Shift weight on feet.
Everything loose.

Opening Wide

Shoulders on ground.
Release hip to gravity.
Sense whole body.

Gliding Upwards

Moving spine toward head and feet.
Feet start rapid head-toe direction rocking.
Gentle vital alive.

Resting Within

Curl up and return.
Like above or on a side.
Safe and warm.

Settling into Stillness

Return to earth.
Surrender to gravity.
